Bangoru Waterfall is tucked away in the scenic beauty near Bir Billing, about 6.5 kilometers from the main town. Don’t expect signboards or fancy trails to guide you to this hidden gem, though. Finding it is half the adventure! Here’s what you need to know: The starting point to reach the Bangoru Waterfall location is Bir Town which is 03 km from Bir Billing’s landing point. From here, just follow the Billing road heading toward Bangoru Valley at Gunehar village, then ask the locals for directions. Trust me, the people here are friendlier than your neighborhood grocery store guy. After reaching Bangoru Valley, you need to trek 1.5 km to Bangoru Hidden Waterfall. I suggest you to hire a guide because half of the trek is through a slippery and big river’s rocks. Pro Tip: Make sure your phone is fully charged, not just for directions (because Google Maps might abandon you mid-way) but for all the stunning photos you’ll want to click. Also, carry a spare pair of clothes after swimming at Hidden Waterfall.
