The spring season (March to June) is the finest window. The thermals are active, the skies are clear, and the valley is carpeted in wildflowers.
The post-monsoon window from September to November is the second golden season. The rains have freshened the landscape and the air has exceptional clarity.
Monsoon (July–August) is a no-fly period. Unpredictable thermals and wet conditions make flying unsafe.
December to February is cold but occasionally flyable on clear days.
